Would you care for some authentic Italian meals in an authentic Italian ambiance? This was suggested and I've heard of this place through word of mouth. There are many Italian options in and around Boston and it doesn't necessarily have to be in Little Italy. Yet I need to check off so many to say I've tried them all. I would most definitely come back to Ristorante Limoncello. There were three of us and as soon as we arrived, we were greeted and welcomed. What was consistent was each of our meals all had the same tomato cream sauce. Our friendly server suggested their most sold dish which was the Rosette Al Montasio Ed Olio Di Tartufo. This was so delicious and excellent. One friend was in the mood for squid ink fettuccine, and another one was in the mood for lobster ravioli. Recommended dish would also go to Lobster Ravioli! To share, we ordered Capresse, and an order of three meatballs after noticing multiple tables were sharing with each other. So sorry as I cannot remember the name of our dessert, but it contained almond. If anyone reading this could drop me a comment with its name, or I'll have to go back again the next time I'm in Boston again. It Was Tasty! Definitely my new go to when in the North End. Highly Higly Recommended Ristorante! Price 5/5 Food 5/5 Service 5/5 Atmosphere 5/5

A-MAZING dinner at Limoncello's! This restaurant was located in a lovely, quaint seaside historic area near Paul Revere's home. With no wait we were seated right away by attentive waiters filling water glasses and bringing bread and assorted olives. I ordered shrimp w/ vodka sauce; the shrimp were large & perfectly cooked and pasta homemade. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere elegant Italian. Would 100% dine here again! Thank you Limoncello for a wonderful visit!

True Italian restaurant in North end. Everyone spoke Italian and the menu was full of amazing authentic dishes! As with any restaurant in the north end, the tables are tight together, but that was expected. We still had a pleasant time and the food was very good. The chicken parmigiana was our favorite, the sauce was fantastic. The chicken picatta was also good, the lemon white wine sauce was good but it needed some more seasoning on the chicken. We also ordered mozzarella and tomatoes to start and it was so fresh! The service was decent, the server wasn't overly friendly but also wasn't rude. We would definitely go back!

Excellent Italian restaurant in the North End. Definitely one of my favorites. They have a nice front patio and the inside is very cozy. You really can't go wrong with any one of their pastas but I particularly enjoy the Rosette with their homemade wide noodles. The restaurant is slightly upscale (but not too fancy) and on the pricier side. Though the food quality warrants the price in my opinion. Staff was attentive and happy to provide recommendations. Hope to return for another satiating Italian meal!

There were many restaurants in the area to enjoy from but this one caught my eye the most due to the reviews and the fact that they had a patio in the back to enjoy the nice weather. We were seated fairly quickly and our server came over to take our order and explained the specials of the day. She was super friendly and charismatic. We ordered the meatballs since she said that's what the restaurant was known for as our appetizer and I ordered a limoncello spritz since they only had spritz, wine and beer as options. It was very tasty but a bit too strong. The meatballs were absolutely delicious, they were moist inside as soon as you cut your fork through them and the marina sauce they came in wasn't overpowering. I ordered their white clam pasta as my entree and also tasted my sisters plate which was a huge variety of seafood in a red broth. My pasta dish was light and the clams were cooked to perfection; I probably would have liked a bit more garlic and white sauce in the pasta since it seemed a bit dry but overall fantastic flavor. My sister's dish was absolutely delicious; the lobster dipped in the broth was perfection and it just came with a huge amount of seafood. The broth was definitely the star in that meal, at one point all I was doing was sipping on the broth. Highly recommend !

Outstanding food. Start with the meatballs, bread and a glass of Chianti. Then order the Rossette. Just do it! The wait staff are friendly and efficient. Plus the owner and his brother are all business and customer service is top-notch. This is in the North End with plenty of choices. Come here as it has a very nice atmosphere. Read what I wrote above.

I returned to this restaurant because their meatballs were so delicious 6 years ago! And sure they still are. They open at noon but got there early so they seated me and enjoyed the ambiance and just people watched until they were ready to take my order. As usual, I over ordered For 1 person Meatballs House salad Jumbo shrimp with limoncello pasta I couldn't finish them all but I had fun getting a taste of what was 6 years ago. Delicious! Whenever you're in Boston in the North end area, this restaurant is a must try!

WE LOVE LIMONCELLO!!! The food is AMAZING! You can get anything on the menu - specials, the standards....I don't care for salad in general, but they have a Caesar salad - it's incredible! Our family favorite dish? Rosette Al Montasio Ed Olio Di Tartufo It's worth 100 dollars or more but they sell it for less than that so it's a bargain! The service is great - the waiters and waitresses all have a sense of humor and are extremely friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is in a gorgeous neighborhood with amazing people and families. If you're Italian - they speak the language all around the area and in the restaurant - it's a beautiful language to hear! In this visit, we had two male singers singing 2-4 songs in English and Italian - it was a major highlight of the night! 6 stars!
